So, here is a little bit about myself. I have always been a creative person and enjoyed art and other creative hobbies from a young age. It was only when I picked up my first camera that I knew this was the medium I wanted to use to express my creativity. I got into photography while in high school and after finishing secondary education I decided to further my interest by enrolling at my local college, where I eventually attained City & Guilds accreditation in photography.

For many years I sought to get involved in various disciplines of photography like portraiture, corporate and weddings etc., to get as much experience as possible in the industry. All of which has been invaluable to my progress as a photographer, although as with any profession, there is always something new to learn.

In 2019, I was diagnosed with a rare medical condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), which was starting to severely affect my eyesight. Thankfully an expert team of doctors at Birmingham Queen Elizabeth Hospital were able to prevent the condition from causing more damage to my eyesight. Unfortunately however they were not able to reverse the damage that had already been caused, so I suffer from some sight loss.

This however has not stopped me from continuing to take photos. With the help of others and modern advances in photographic technology I can still enjoy photography as much, if not more than ever before!

I now focus mainly on wildlife, nature, landscape and more recently drone photography, but also have an interest in Automotive, Macro and Toy Photography; all of which you can see on my website and social media feeds. I currently use a Nikon Z5 full frame mirrorless camera with various lenses as my main camera and occasionally my trusty iPhone, as well as a DJI Mini 3 Pro for drone photography.

I find photography both fascinating and relaxing. Seeing something that catches my eye gives me such a thrill and being able to capture an interesting scene or moment makes me really happy.
